Japanese: Level 7

Service Description

Please ensure you have learned all the concepts taught in levels 1-6 before choosing this class. We will be covering Chapters 18-20ish in this course. (We will be going over Keigo, which can be challenging, so if we don't make it all the way to the end of chapter 20, it's okay!) Classes are Sundays and Thursdays at 6pm Mountain Time. Ritomo will teach Thursdays and Mandy will teach Sundays The pace of this course is medium. We will take time to thoroughly go through each topic, ensuring plenty of speaking and listening practice for each point. Our goal is to make students create their own spontaneous sentences as much as possible. These are the topics we will cover: Chapter 18 - New vocab - Transitive and Intransitive Verbs - Transitive and Intransitive Verbs with ている - 〜てしまう (Yikes) - と as a conditional - ながら (while) - 〜ばよかった (I should have..) - Kanji Chapter 19 - KEIGO (Be afraid) - 〜てくれてありがとう (Thank you for doing..) - 〜てよかった (I'm glad that..) - はず (Pretty sure) - Kanji Chapter 20 - KEIGO AGAIN (Be very afraid) - ないで ("without") - Questions within larger sentences - Name という Item - Vstemやすい・Vstemにくい (easy to do/hard to do) - Kanji - Real Life Keigo examples Classes will be recorded. If you miss a class, you can catch up later by watching the recording.
