Service Description
The course is a continuation from Level 5. We will be covering chapters 14, 15, and 16 of the Genki II textbook. Classes will take place Sundays and Thursdays at 7pm Mountain Time. Ritomo will teach Sundays and Mandy will teach Thursdays. Classes will be recorded and posted after class so that any students who missed class have a chance to catch up! Reading and writing assignments will be given each week for students to complete between classes. Students will get individualized feedback on all assignments. Please expect to spend about 2 hours per week on Japanese outside of class time. Here are our learning goals for this course: Chapter 14 - New vocabulary - ほしい ("Want") - かもしれません (Might be) - Giving and Getting - たらどうですか (Giving suggestions) - Numberも・Numberしか＋negative - Kanji - Storytime Chapter 15 - Volitional Form - ておく ("Go ahead and...") - Using a whole sentence as an adjective - Kanji - Story Time! Chapter 16 - Giving and getting actions - Asking for favours - といい ("I hope") - Verb時 ("When" but on hard mode) - Kanji - Story time Course will run for 12 weeks for a total of 24 classes. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made up to 3 days before the start of the class. Cancellations made within 3 days of the start of the class will not be eligible for a refund. Please note that missed classes will not be made up, but recordings of the classes will be made available to those who were unable to attend. In the event of a class cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, such as power outages or illness, the instructor will work with students to reschedule the class at a mutually convenient time.
