Service Description

This course is for students who are comfortable with concepts taught up to Level 4 (Please check descriptions to be sure this is the right level for you) We will cover chapters 12-14 in the Genki textbooks. Lessons will take place on Monday's and Friday's at 5pm Mountain Time. Please double check that this works for you in your Time Zone. Lessons are live and conducted on Zoom. The lessons will be recorded so students are able to review lessons or catch up if they missed a lesson. Please note that students will be expected to keep up with homework and vocab memorization on their own. (Estimated 2-4 hours of practice a week) This is what we will be learning in this course: Week One - Chapter 12 Vocabulary - んです for explanations/emotion Week Two - More んです practice - すぎる (Too much) Week Three - 〜たほうがいい Giving advice - ので (More formal alternative to から - 〜なければいけません (Must) Week Four - でしょう - Review of Chapter - Kanji Week Five - Kanji Reading - JLPT N5 Checkstop (Optional) - Chapter 13 Vocab Week 6 - Potential Verbs (Can/Can't) - stating multiple reasons with し Week 7 - 〜そう (Seems like) - 〜てみる (Try something out) Week 8 - なら (if) - Talking about how often you do something - Kanji Week 9 - Kanji reading - Chapter 14 Vocab - ほしい (To want a noun) - 〜かもしれません (Maybe) Week 10 - あげる・くれる・もらう (Giving and Receiving) Week 11 - たらどうですか (What if you...?) - Counting things/しか+Neg - Chap review Week 12 - Kanji - Kanji reading

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made up to 3 days before the start of the class. Cancellations made within 3 days of the start of the class will not be eligible for a refund. Please note that missed classes will not be made up, but recordings of the classes will be made available to those who were unable to attend. In the event of a class cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, such as power outages or illness, the instructor will work with students to reschedule the class at a mutually convenient time. If you have any questions or concerns about the cancellation policy, please don't hesitate to contact us.
