Service Description
This course is for students who have completed Level 3, or who are already comfortable with all the learning goals listed in Level 3. Classes will take place on Thursday's and Sunday's at 5pm Mountain Time for 1 hour. Please check this time works for your Time Zone. Mandy will teach the Thursday classes, Ritomo will teach the Sunday classes. This course will go through chapters 9-11 in the Genki textbook. You should be able to pass the N5 exam after this course. (As long as you can answer questions quickly) Here are the learning goals of this course: Chapter 9 - Vocabulary (Kabuki Theme) - Casual Past Tense Forms - Using Verbs to describe nouns - Saying "I haven't ..... yet" - から again - New Kanji Chapter 10 - Vocabulary (Vacation Theme) - Comparing 2 things - Comparing 3 or more things - Adding の to replace nouns - つもり - "To become" - "Somewhere" "Something" "Someone" - Kanji Chapter 11 - Vocabulary - "I want to ...." - Listing non exhaustive activities "I do things like A and B" - "I have never .... before" - Non exhaustive lists "I eat foods like A and B" - Kanji Students will be expected to complete homework and memorize things like Vocabulary and Kanji between lessons. Students will be given materials needed to do homework. Homework will be marked between classes. Lessons take place over Zoom. The lessons will be recorded and posted afterwards so students can review as needed or if they miss a class. There will be 24 classes in total.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made up to 3 days before the start of the class. Cancellations made within 3 days of the start of the class will not be eligible for a refund. Please note that missed classes will not be made up, but recordings of the classes will be made available to those who were unable to attend. In the event of a class cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, such as power outages or illness, the instructor will work with students to reschedule the class at a mutually convenient time.
