Service Description
Please Ensure that this is the right level for you by reading the course outline of this class and the outlines of the previous classes. (This class will cover the content of Chapters 6, 7, 8 of the Genki Textbook) Classes will take place Thursday's and Sunday's at 6pm Mountain Time. Please double check that this time works for you. Lessons will take place on Zoom. Mandy will teach Monday's and Ritomo will teach Friday's. Course Outline: Week One - New Vocabulary/Review - introduction to the て form and it's uses Week Two - Using て form to ask people to do things - Using て form to ask permission - Using て form to forbid people from doing things - Using て form to say "And" with verbs Week Three - Do any remaining work with て form - Saying "Because" in Japanese - Revisiting ましょうか Week Four - Chapter review through role play - Kanji/Kanji reading assignment Week Five - New Vocabulary - Introduction to the "ing" ending in Japanese Week Six - The difference between は and が (kind of) - Describing things Week Seven - Adjectives have て form too! - Verb Stems. (Saying "I am going to *Place* to do a *Thing*.") - How to count people Week 8 - New Kanji - Bring in a picture of your family and tell us about them - Kanji reading practice Week 9 - New Vocabulary - Casual Japanese. -Casual present and negative tenses - How to say what you are thinking about/ how to quote people Week 10 - Asking people not to do things - "I like doing ______" Week 11 - Another usage of が - Talking about "Nothing" and "Something" Week 12 - Plan a party - New Kanji - Kanji reading: A survey of Japanese Salary-Men

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made up to 3 days before the start of the class. Cancellations made within 3 days of the start of the class will not be eligible for a refund. Please note that missed classes will not be made up, but recordings of the classes will be made available to those who were unable to attend. In the event of a class cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, such as power outages or illness, the instructor will work with students to reschedule the class at a mutually convenient time. If you have any questions or concerns about the cancellation policy, please don't hesitate to contact us.
